DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design tour itinerary and create tour departure
• Handling phone calls with airlines and ground operators
• Ensuring the Operations process flow implementations are according to company’s policy

• Performs market comparisons and surveys to assess competition
• Requests and compares quotation from ground agents and hotels
• Develop new tour packages (content, itinerary, costing, presentation and layout design) for Asia group series tours

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the overall running of the Sales Department (Asia Division)
• Handle customer complaints that are escalated upwards by the Executive, Supervisors, or Tour Consultants
• Check Tour Leaders’ reports and feedback of tour members (i.e. complaints, compliments, tour leaders’ performance, overall tour, etc.)
• Prepare monthly departmental sales report and to identify areas for improvement to improve Company’s profits
• Periodically audit and check that all country invoice files are in order and that full payment has been made prior to tour departure
• To be the point-of-reference and person in charge for:
   a) tour refund
   b) tour cancellation charges
   c) tour discount
i.e. the person team members have to consult prior to refund or cancellation charges are levied, or discounts given
• To be the point-of-reference/ consultation should there be booking problems or change in tour bookings, e.g. change in county of destination, etc
• Arrange, schedule and coordinate for new product briefing, conducted either by ground operators or operations department
• Coordinate all major travel fairs (MATTA Fair, MiTM Fair) and Asia related fairs, i.e. arrange schedules, briefings, itinerary, food and beverages, manpower and manpower charts, etc
• Coordinate with Freelance Tour Leaders and compile their availability period to lead tours in the Freelance Tour Leader Movement Chart
• Guide and motivate sectional leaders by conducting occasional one-to-one or focused discussion on their goals, achievements and challenges
• Provide guidance, counselling and support for the team, e.g. in work performance, attendance, personal grooming and presentation, etc
• Brief new team members and assign them to mentors
