Itinerary

Day 1 | KL / BUDAPEST SIGHTSEEING (L/D)

  • Budapest, often described as the “Paris of the East” is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe which is bisected by the Danube River.
  • Visit the hill top of Fisherman’s Bastion, a fairytale-like castle that blends neo-Gothic and neo Romanesque styles, serving as a lookout for the best panoramic views of Budapest and Danube River.
  • Group Photo at Fisherman’s Bastion
  • Visit Matthias Church, the unique church in Europe located at castle hill. Be impressed by the interior of the church which is magnificently decorated with colorful patterns, motifs and wall paintings that will definitely leave you speechless!
  • Visit the Hungarian Parliament Building, the seat of the National Assembly of Hungary.
  • Photo opportunity at Szechenyi Chain Bridge, Gellert Hill, before heading to the Heroes’ Square, the largest and most impressive square.
  • Tonight we connect with locals over a Be My Guest dinner with the Schieszl family and hear the story of their winery.

Day 2 | BUDAPEST/ BRATISLAVA/ VIENNA (B/D)

  • Proceed to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, also known as the beauty on the Danube. It is a small historical city, but largest in Slovakia and the youngest European metropolis.
  • Photo opportunity at Bratislava Castle, which dominates the city and offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
  • Continue to Bratislava’s bustling Main Square and view the Old Town Hall, the oldest of its kind in Slovakia. Stroll along the only preserved city gate – St Michael’s Gate.
  • Transfer to the capital city of Austria, Vienna. Tonight enjoy a Viennese concert with dinner.

Day 3 | VIENNA SIGHTSEEING (B/D)

  • Start our day in the capital of Austria with a walking tour around Heldenplatz (Heroes’ Square) to view Baroque architecture and Hofburg Palace.
  • View State Opera House, neo-Gothic style City Hall, and the impressive St. Stephen ‘s Cathedral.
  • Visit Schonbrunn Palace, a majestic Baroque architecture that used to be the summer residence of the imperial family.

Day 4 | VIENNA/ HALLSTATT/ SALZBURG (B/L/D)

  • Today, start with a visit to Austria’s oldest and most photographed UNESCO World Heritage site – Hallstatt.
  • Walking tour to visit Central Square Marktplatz. This historic square is surrounded by picturesque little houses. Take a short walk to the famous lake, one of the most photographed points in the world which will definitely bring you into postcard views!
  • Transfer to Salzburg and dine tonight at your Hotel.

Day 5 | SALZBURG/ CESKY KRUMLOV (B/L/D)

  • Start your day in the city of Mozart, Salzburg. Walking tour in Old Town, with its world-famous baroque architecture along the city. View the Salzburg landmark – Hohensalzburg Fortress, Europe’s largest preserved fortress.
  • Stroll along Mozart’s Birthplace at Getreidegasse, Salzburg’s most attractive and most visited shopping street with its high and narrow houses and romantic courtyards.
  • Visit the most beautiful Baroque gardens – Mirabell Gardens, thanks in part to being featured in the classic movie “The Sound of Music.”
  • Transfer to Cesky and dine tonight at your Hotel.

Day 6 | CESKY KRUMLOV/ PRAGUE (B/L/D)

  • Cesky Krumlov – a beautiful city located in South Bohemia. It is a picturesque small town with a fairy tale feel from the Middle Ages.
  • An orientation tour to explore the old town, a well-preserved UNESCO World Heritage Site, view the historic Cesky Krumlov Castle, the bends of Vltava River, the Renaissance and Baroque architectures.
  • Transfer to the capital city of Czech Republic, Prague. The city is famous for its historical and unique medieval architecture, giving Prague its description as the “city of hundred spires”.

Day 7 | PRAGUE SIGHTSEEING (B/L/D)

  • Visit the world’s largest ancient castle – Prague Castle, a huge complex of buildings connected by internal courtyards. Tour to view the St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George Basilica, Royal Palace and the Golden Lane.
  • Walk across the iconic Charles Bridge to the colorful Baroque styles Old Town Square and view the oldest working astronomical clock in the world which was first installed in 1410.

Day 8 | PRAGUE/ DEPARTURE (B)

  • Enjoy free time at Wenceslas Square before leaving.
  • Bid farewell to Prague and transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.

 

Day 9 | ARRIVE KL
