    Tijuca Forest is the largest urban forest in the world, which has exotic vegetation species in the vast green area of the Atlantic Rainforest. Many trails are available at the forest, providing an intense contact with nature and heading to lookouts with stunning natural landscapes of Rio. This stretch of forest covers a significant part of the city yet feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle. It includes a few simple trails, where you can see up close the stunning green leaves. Depending on the day, you also can see monkeys, toucans, iguanas, anteater-type mammals and others.

     

    The Carnival Parade 
    The samba parade held to celebrate the Rio Carnival is undoubtedly the biggest attraction on earth, with visitors from around the world flocking to Rio for dancing, singing, and partying. To vibe with the rhythm of the samba the only place to be is the Rio Carnival. In all likelihood, the quest to experience the Carnival once could turn out to be an annual habit for any tourist. The Carnival is the best time to experience the best of Brazilian culture, for this is one occasion that truly sums up the carioca way of life. Since 1984, the parade is held at the Sambadrome where twelve of the top samba schools vie for the prestigious championship title every year.

    In the morning free & easy. After lunch, start the day with a rack railway ride to the 710 metres high summit of Corcovado Mountain, where the 38 metre Statue of Christ the Redeemer (one of the New Seven Wonders of the World) stands majestically with its outstretched arms. The view of the whole city and Guanabara Bay below is simply breath-taking. Photo stop at the iconic Maracana Stadium, venue of the 2014 World Cup Final. Next, we scale the Sugarloaf Mountain in cable cars. First, stop at the 220metre elevator, Morro da Urca, with a fantastic panoramic vista of the city skyline, local ghettoes and the Guanabara Bay. The second car reaches the top of Sugarloaf at 395metres above sea level. From here, the views extend to the famous beaches, the Niteroi and outlying islands of Riofor fabulous panoramic views of Bergen and its surroundings.

    Iguazu Falls Adventure (Argentinian Side)
    Take the ecological jungle train to Devil’s Throat and walk on the boardwalk to the stunning viewing platform at the top of Devil’s Throat. A combination of 14 falls plunging down 100 metres at the same spot. Next, embark on the Upper Circuit walk where we will be walking on footbridges right over the top of the waterfalls and enjoy a scenic extravaganza from higher points. Along the Lower Circuit, we will be up-close with the thundering splashes of the base of the waterfalls.

    Manaus, is the capital of the vast state of Amazonas. It's a major departure point for the surrounding Amazon Rainforest. Just east of the city, the dark Negro River converges with the brown, muddy Solimões River resulting in a striking visual phenomenon called the “Meeting of the Waters.” The combined tributaries form the Amazon River.     Visit Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden. The Botanical Garden shows the diversity of Brazilian and foreign flora. There are around 7,200 species distributed throughout an area of 54 hectares as well as numerous greenhouses.

     

    Return to the hotel to freshen up and pack your luggage, check out after dinner, and transfer to the airport for check-in.
